Do you care for seniors, children, adults with disabilities, and special needs clients?
Yes. We provide non-medical home care services for a wide range of individuals, including seniors, adults with chronic conditions or disabilities, individuals recovering from illness or surgery, children with special needs, foster children (with proper program authorization), and clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Our care plans are fully personalized based on age, ability level, mobility, behavior, and emotional needs, ensuring that every client receives compassionate, respectful, age-appropriate support in a safe and familiar environment.
Can your caregivers help with medications?
Yes. Our caregivers can provide medication reminders, assist with organizing pill boxes, prompt clients to take their medications on time, and observe for any visible changes in behavior or response. If a licensed nurse (RN or LVN) is involved in the client’s care and determines that medication assistance can be legally delegated under the Texas Nurse Practice Act, our caregivers may assist with medication administration under the nurse’s supervision and according to the delegation instructions provided. Without nurse delegation, caregivers are not permitted to independently administer medications, but they can still support safe medication routines through reminders and monitoring.
✅ We do not operate as a skilled nursing or medical agency, but we comply fully with legal nurse delegation procedures when applicable.
Do you provide 24/7 or live-in care?
Yes. We offer flexible care options, including hourly, overnight, live-in, and full 24/7 support for clients who require continuous supervision or consistent assistance throughout the day and night. Whether your loved one needs ongoing monitoring, nighttime reassurance, or around-the-clock personal care, we can create a schedule that provides dependable support at any hour.
How do you select your caregivers?
We follow a careful, multi-step selection process to ensure that only trustworthy, compassionate, and qualified individuals become part of our care team. Each applicant goes through criminal background checks, identity verification, employment and reference screening, personality evaluation, and an in-depth interview focused on professionalism, patience, communication, and empathy. We look for caregivers who demonstrate both skill and genuine compassion. Once selected, every caregiver must complete agency-required training in safety, personal care standards, infection control, and client dignity before working with any client. We only approve caregivers we would confidently trust in our own homes
Are your caregivers trained and supervised?
Yes. All of our caregivers are professionally trained and closely supervised to ensure consistent quality of care. Each caregiver completes agency-required training in personal care, safety practices, infection control, fall prevention, emergency response, and client dignity. Additional condition-specific training may be provided depending on the client’s needs. Caregiver supervision is ongoing. Our agency leadership monitors caregiver performance through regular check-ins, care plan reviews, client feedback, and follow-up visits when needed. If any coaching or retraining is required, it is addressed promptly to ensure every client continues to receive safe, respectful, and professional care.
At De-Mondek, caregivers are never left unsupported, and clients are never left without oversight or quality assurance.
Can I choose or change my caregiver?
Yes. Your comfort matters. We carefully match caregivers based on personality, communication style, care needs, cultural preferences, and client expectations. Before assigning a caregiver, we consider factors such as experience level, gender preference (if any), emotional compatibility, and the type of support needed. If at any point you feel the caregiver is not a perfect fit — whether for personal, emotional, or comfort reasons — you can request a change at any time with no hesitation or discomfort. We will respectfully reassign a different caregiver who better aligns with your needs and preferences. At De-Mondek, you are never “stuck” with a caregiver. You always have a voice in who provides your care, and we are committed to finding the right match for you or your loved one.
How quickly can services start?
Care can often begin within 24–72 hours after assessment and agreement. Emergency and hospital discharge cases may be prioritized. In many cases, care can begin within 24 to 72 hours after the initial consultation and assessment have been completed. For clients with urgent needs—such as hospital discharges, caregiver emergencies, or sudden changes in condition—we do our best to prioritize and expedite the start of services as quickly as possible. Once we understand the client’s needs, preferences, and care schedule, we match them with a suitable caregiver and finalize a care plan so services can begin smoothly and without delay.
Do you create a personalized care plan?
Yes. Every client receives an individualized care plan developed in partnership with the client, their family, and healthcare providers (if applicable).Yes. Every client receives a customized care plan that is tailored to their unique needs, abilities, preferences, and daily routines. During the assessment process, we gather information about the client’s physical support needs, emotional well-being, medical considerations (if applicable), lifestyle preferences, mobility level, communication style, and family expectations. Based on this information, we design a care plan that outlines the specific services to be provided, the level of assistance required, caregiver responsibilities, and safety precautions. Care plans are reviewed regularly and updated as needs change to ensure the client continues to receive appropriate and supportive care.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. De-Mondek Home Care Provider Services operates in compliance with Texas state regulations for non-medical personal assistance service (PAS) agencies. We maintain appropriate licensing, follow all applicable standards for caregiver oversight and client safety, and carry liability insurance and bonding protection to provide peace of mind for our clients and their families. Our commitment to legal compliance and professional accountability ensures that every service we provide is delivered under safe, regulated, and trustworthy conditions.
Do you work with other professionals such as nurses, therapists, or case managers?
Yes. We collaborate with nurses, Medicaid caseworkers, social workers, foster care agencies, hospice providers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the client’s care.Yes. We welcome collaboration with other professionals who are involved in the client’s care, including registered nurses (RNs and LVNs), therapists, hospice teams, social workers, Medicaid waiver case managers, foster care program coordinators, and discharge planners. When a licensed nurse is managing a client’s health needs, they may legally delegate certain tasks such as medication assistance under the Texas Nurse Practice Act, and our caregivers may perform those delegated tasks under the nurse’s ongoing supervision. We also work alongside therapists by reinforcing recommended home exercises, assisting with positioning or mobility routines, or maintaining consistency with care-related instructions within non-medical limits. This team-based, coordinated approach helps ensure continuity, safety, and better overall outcomes for the client and peace of mind for their families.
What payment options are available? We accept:
We offer flexible payment options to meet the needs of different families. We accept private pay through cash, debit or credit cards, and bank transfers. For eligible clients, we may also accept long-term care insurance, Medicaid waiver programs, foster care or agency-authorized payment arrangements, and third-party payer approvals when applicable. In some cases, we can work with authorized case managers, government programs, or partnering agencies that cover approved care services. During the consultation, we will discuss available payment options and help you understand the best fit based on your care needs and coverage eligibility.
Can I request temporary, long-term, or part-time services?
Yes. We offer flexible care options based on your needs, whether you require short-term support, long-term ongoing care, or temporary assistance during recovery, travel, caregiver breaks, or life transitions. You can schedule care for just a few hours, several days a week, overnight shifts, or on a continuous long-term basis. Our services are adaptable and can be adjusted at any time to match changes in your condition, goals, or level of independence.
What happens if my loved one’s needs change?
We conduct regular care reviews. If needs increase, services can be adjusted, additional hours added, or nurse delegation arranged if necessary. We understand that care needs can change due to health conditions, recovery progress, aging, emotional changes, or new medical recommendations. If your loved one’s needs change, we will reassess their situation, update the care plan, and adjust the level of support accordingly. This may include increasing or decreasing care hours, adding new types of assistance, providing more specialized support, or coordinating with healthcare professionals if a nurse or therapist becomes involved. If certain tasks require nurse delegation, we can work with a licensed nurse to ensure proper training and supervision for our caregiver when applicable. Our goal is to evolve with your loved one’s needs so they continue to feel supported, safe, and cared for at every stage.
How do you ensure safety and quality of care?
We are committed to maintaining a safe, reliable, and high-quality care experience for every client. To ensure safety and consistency, we carefully screen and train all caregivers, provide clear care plans, and monitor performance through regular check-ins, supervisory follow-ups, and client satisfaction feedback. Caregivers are trained in infection control, fall prevention, emergency response, and incident reporting to protect client safety at all times. If any concerns arise, we respond quickly with corrective actions, retraining, or caregiver reassignment if necessary. Care plans are reviewed and updated as needs change, and we continuously evaluate our services to promote improvement and accountability. Our priority is to provide dependable care that supports your loved one’s well-being, comfort, and peace of mind.
Do you work with state programs, agencies, or care facilities that may need caregiver support?
Yes. We are open to working with various authorized agencies, programs, and care providers, including Medicaid waiver programs, foster care agencies, senior or disability support organizations, case management programs, transitional care services, post-rehab or post-hospital support teams, and other licensed facilities or organizations that need caregiver assistance for their clients. If services are approved and authorized through a funding source or partnering agency, we can coordinate caregiver support according to the approved care plan or service agreement. During the consultation, we can review any agency requirements or program eligibility to determine how we can best collaborate.
